In 2021 I started a project viewing from the end of the train to capture interesting compositions. There are challenges in shooting from the last car and taking the shot due to motion of the car and the fact the train is moving. It's a fun challenge and these are the first ones.
I expect to compile end of train photos from different railroads and seasons in both color and monochrome over the next several years to be able to put together a book exploring the idea.
